# Data Science

Data science is the study of learning from data, extracting information, insights, knowledge from data, and creating descriptive, predictive, or prescriptive analytics for supporting decision making.

Data science modeling is the process of training a piece of software, called a data-driven model, to generate new outputs based on a set of data inputs.
